Mission Statement: The purpose of Generacion Barranca 2006 is to support the development of education, economics, and community of the town of Barranca Fierro Mixtepec, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico

Vision: Generacion Barranca 2006 wants to support the people of Barranca Fierro Mixtepec in the education of the children, providing help to the community and economic development. By funding and organizing projects that will help schools and developing facilities, GB 2006 will contribute to the growth of the community and to the future of the people of this town. Ultimately, our vision is to motivate other neighboring towns to participate in similar projects to better the lives of people in this area of Mexico.

Generacion Barranca 2006 consists of two aspects:

1. Generacion Barranca 2006 will support and provide resources to contribute to the educational development such as educational materials, technology, and betterment of the facilities for the local school.

2. Generacion Barranca 2006 will create and help fund community projects that will contribute to the local economic growth and unify the local residents.

The goal is to unify the communities and help stimulate the local economy. Generacion Barranca 2006 will achieve this by creating projects that support education and the interests of the local residents. These projects will then create jobs and improve the standard of living. GB 2006 hopes to provide resources, facilities, and economic growth so one day the future generations will not have to leave their community to find work and look for a better life. Many residents leave to other cities or the United States to find work and a better life. By helping these people to learn to become self sufficient economically, we can make it so they won't have to leave their home to find work. Community projects will help unify the people by working together for a common goal and teaching them skills that will help the community grow economically.
